Philanthropy and Service with Ayurvedic Healing Therapy
Ayurvedic Healing Therapy is committed to serving humanity. Seva is the Sanskrit word meaning “selfless service.” Selfless service is an important principle in both Ayurveda and Yoga. Because God is perceived as existing in all, serving another is like serving God, and an extended part of oneself.
Gandhi said, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Gandhi’s words deeply impacted me throughout my travels serving in rural villages in India and Africa and also serving our homeless brothers and sisters in my hometown of Los Angeles on Skid row.
The ultimate goal in life is to realize that all existence is intricately connected and one.
Service helps us understand this profound concept and tangibly experience that feeding a hungry being, is essentially feeding oneself. Compassion can save the world. We volunteer educational services and tools to uplift unprivileged communities and youth programs.
10% of all proceeds are donated to non-profits, such as organizations serving impoverished rural communities in India.
